Sometimes it's more efficient to roll up your digital sleeves and manually complete the task at hand. The elegant solution is not always the best choice all the time.

I have seen plenty of examples of developers going off into the weeds and spending hours upon hours on automating a task that would only take minutes to complete manually. That's like hiring a painter to redo your living room but instead they paint your whole house. Yes, it looks nice but was not necessary.

Take a minute to step back and look at the bigger picture.You are trying to get a product out the door and compromises to the "prefect world" solution may need to be made.
